Overview

Trusted Access is where you can see everything that other Inheritable or VitaVault users have chosen to share with you. It is entirely read-only, you cannot edit or change any of the data shown here.

The people who appear in your Trusted Access list are those who have actively shared one or more features with you. Tapping a person shows which features they have shared, and tapping a feature reveals the individual entries within it.

All data here belongs to the person who shared it. If they update a record in their account, you will see the updated version automatically.

At the top of Trusted Access you will find the people who have shared with you. Tap any person to see exactly what they have chosen to share, a curated selection of their information, never their whole account. You see only the specific features and entries they picked for you, and everything is read-only so nothing can be changed.

Where they have attached a document, photo, or video to a shared entry, you can open that attachment right here and save it using your phone’s normal file handling. And because the data still belongs to them, if they later update a shared record you will always see the latest version automatically.

Pinned at the end of the list is Shared by Me, your single place to see everything you have shared from right across Inheritable. Rather than opening each feature one by one to check what is shared and with whom, this brings it all together in one view.

Open it to see every entry you have shared, grouped by feature, with a clear indication of who can see each one. It is the quickest way to review your sharing at a glance and reassure yourself that the right people, and only the right people, have access to your information.

Shared by Me is a read-only overview. To change or stop sharing something, open that feature and adjust its Share With field or its master Share Toggle, just as you set it up.

Trusted Access gives you a secure window into information that matters to you, shared directly by the people you trust.

Everything in Trusted Access is read-only. You cannot add, edit, or delete any of the data shown here. If something needs updating, the person who shared it will need to make the change in their own account, and you will see the update automatically.
