    Documents, passwords, and written instructions, encrypted in transit and at rest, with sensitive fields encrypted again inside the database.

    Verified access when the conditions you set are met. Every access attempt is recorded in the audit log.

Inheritable holds some of the most sensitive information you own, so we engineer for it deliberately: encryption in transit and at rest, a second layer on your most sensitive fields, access enforced in the database itself, and a full audit trail of every read and share.

Encryption
Encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256. Sensitive items such as your vault passwords are encrypted again inside the database and decrypted one entry at a time, only when you open them.
Authentication
Email + password, passkeys (WebAuthn), and OAuth with Google and Apple.
Access control
Row-level security enforced in the database. The application can only ever see rows that belong to the signed-in account.
Audit log
Reads, shares, and access attempts are recorded in an audit log, capturing who, when, and the originating IP address and device IDs.
Data residency
Database and applications are hosted in the United Kingdom, within a data centre holding SOC 2 and ISO 27001 accreditation.
Continuity

If we are not here, your vault still is.

The reasonable question about a service like this is what happens to your information if the company behind it goes away. Our answer has three parts.

Export, always. You can download a complete archive of your vault at any time, in standard, open formats. Nothing inside Inheritable is held in a format only Inheritable can read.

A documented wind-down. If Apps 365 Ltd ceased to operate, account holders would be given a final export window of at least 90 days, with notice to nominated executors. The procedure is published, not improvised.

No lock-in by design. Documents are stored as you uploaded them. Passwords export to CSV and 1Password / KeePass formats. Your data is yours.
